We can set the text color in mainly two ways.

  1. Set the text color before creating a document.
  2. Change text color in google docs after the document is already created.



HOW TO TYPE THE DOCUMENT IN THE TEXT COLOR OF YOUR CHOICE?

Let us first learn to change the FONT COLOR before we have created a document.

If we haven’t created the document yet, it is we can set the font color easily using the following steps.

  1. Open the document.
  2. Click on the page.
  3. Go to TEXT COLOR ICON and click it.
  4. Choose the color from the COLOR PALETTE.
  5. The color will reflect in the icon itself.
  6. Start creating the document.

If we have already created the document, we can change the font or text color in the following steps.

  • Select the complete text or you can simply press CTRL+A. [ CTRL+A is better if you have many pages ]
  • Go to the toolbar and click the TEXT COLOR icon.
  • The Color palette will open.
  • Choose the color.
  • Click OK.
  • The color of the complete text will be changed.

USING MULTIPLE FONT COLORS IN THE GOOGLE DOCS DOCUMENT

We can also use many font colors in the same document.

  1. Open the document.
  2. If you already have created the document [ If the document already contains the text which needs to be text color changed]
  3. Simply select the text which needs one color.
  4. Go to STANDARD TOOL BAR.
  5. Click on the TEXT COLOR ICON.
  6. Select the color from the color palette.
  7. The selected text will contain the color selected.
  8. Now select the second portion of the text and again repeat the process.
  9. You can repeat the process as many different colors you need in the document.
